About Metaexplorer

Who we are

Metaexplorer is the publishing platform operated by BEKTAS DİJİTAL İÇERİK STÜDYOSU ANONİM ŞİRKETİ. The company is a joint-stock company registered in İstanbul, Türkiye. It was incorporated on .

The company publishes free educational reference articles about blockchain technology. The articles are written for a general international readership. The whole site is published in English, using British spelling.

Particular attention is given to readers in Japan who read English as a second language. Sentences are kept short, and each sentence carries a single idea. The subject of the site is called ブロックチェーン in Japanese.

The registered office, the statutory registration numbers and the correspondence details are set out in the company details section of this page. They identify the company responsible for everything published here.

What we publish

The editorial remit covers the whole subject of blockchain technology. A blockchain is a shared digital record that many independent computers store and verify at the same time. Articles explain how such records are produced, what they can represent and what their limits are.

The remit is deliberately broad. It is not limited to one product, one product category or one narrow topic. Subjects include record structure, consensus mechanisms, key handling, network design, standards, terminology and public policy discussion.

Every article opens with a summary of what it covers and what it does not cover. The summary states the question the article answers and the main points in plain language. A reader who reads only the summary still gains a correct general understanding.

Articles are written to be read once and understood. A term is defined at first use and then used in the same form throughout the text. Concept-level comparisons are used where they help. A blockchain record is set beside a traditional database. Custodial key handling is set beside self-custodial key handling.

The articles published on this site are What Is Blockchain and How Does It Work?, published on , and MetaMask(メタマスク) Security Guide for Beginners, published on .

What we do not do

The following statements describe the boundaries of the platform. They are written so that any reader can check them quickly.

  • Nothing is sold to readers, and no payment is ever requested from a reader.
  • There are no memberships, no subscriptions, no reader accounts and no paid content.
  • No wallet, exchange, swap, custody, staking or recovery service is operated or offered.
  • No technical support and no helpdesk of any kind are provided.
  • No investment, financial, tax or legal advice is given, in an article or by any other means.
  • No price data, forecasts, market analysis or performance figures are published.
  • No consultancy, advisory work or paid professional engagement is accepted.
  • No affiliate links, referral codes, commissions or revenue-sharing arrangements are used.
  • No reader tracking and no profiling of readers takes place.
  • No forms are published, so no reader data is collected through these pages.

Editorial policy

Research for each article begins with public technical documentation and published standards. The draft is then checked sentence by sentence against those documents. A claim that cannot be traced to a named public document is removed before publication.

Sources are named in plain words inside the text, rather than by hyperlink. The site publishes no outbound links, so the reader is given the name of the publishing organisation and the title of the document instead. That allows the reader to find the source independently.

A named person is responsible for every article. Leyla Bektas, who writes as tasleyla370274, is recorded as the responsible author for the articles published on the site. Responsibilities are set out on the authors page of Metaexplorer.

Articles are reviewed again after publication. The date of the most recent review is shown on the article beside the date of first publication. A reader can therefore see how current the text is.

Corrections are made openly. When a factual error is found, the article text is amended and the change is described in the article itself. A correction is never made silently.

Editorial content is not written, reviewed, approved or influenced by any sponsor. No sponsor sees an article before publication, and no sponsor selects the subject of an article. Editorial decisions are taken by the responsible author alone.

How we are funded

All articles are free to read. There is no paywall, no metered access and no registration barrier.

The sole source of revenue is a single sponsored slot on each page. The slot is clearly labelled as sponsored where it appears, so that it cannot be mistaken for editorial text.

Sponsorship is never endorsement. A sponsor is not recommended, rated or ranked anywhere on the site. The presence of a sponsor carries no judgement about any subject described in the articles.

Sponsorship is accepted only on stated conditions. The slot must remain visually separate and labelled, and it may not be placed inside the article text. A sponsor obtains no editorial influence and no access to information about readers.

The complete conditions, including the categories of sponsorship that are refused, are set out in the terms and conditions of Metaexplorer.

Independence and affiliation

BEKTAS DİJİTAL İÇERİK STÜDYOSU ANONİM ŞİRKETİ is independent. BEKTAS DİJİTAL İÇERİK STÜDYOSU ANONİM ŞİRKETİ has no connection, affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, partnership or agency relationship with any organisation, brand or product mentioned in its articles.

Third-party names are used only to identify the subject being described. They appear as ordinary body text, without logos and without any claim of authorisation. A name in an article never indicates a commercial relationship.

The company is not an agent, reseller or representative of any organisation described in an article. It does not speak for any such organisation and cannot act on its behalf.

How we treat readers

Every article can be read anonymously and without any registration. The site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics and no advertising trackers.

The website is hosted by ITENOS GmbH in Germany. Server access log entries are retained for 30 days on the company's own server and are then deleted. They are used only to keep the site running safely. The full explanation, including the rights a reader holds over any data, is given in the privacy policy of Metaexplorer.
